Meyers looked improved when he played, but the sample size was really small and rarely did he play against guys who other teams play regularly. I think it’s apparent that Stotts is done with the Leonard experiment.
I don’t think anyone wants ML, he’s 26, his contract is a lot higher than you could pay a 20 year old Gleague player with a similar skill set that most teams think they could turn into their own project. I like ML ok, and he’s done what he’s asked, but the fact is he’s just not that good. He has really bad basketball IQ is never in the right place on offense or Defense, his post defense is good, he is a good shooter but his shot motion is too slow so you have to get him while he is wide freaking open or he won’t even attempt the shot. At 26, I highly doubt any team trades for him simply because they want him, now he could be traded because of other reasons, but I really doubt there are a bunch of GM’s out there lined up for him at this point.
