Lillard is a role player on this team. Seems like most of you are missing that fact.
Some things also being missed are that 12 players played in that game. It's the Olympics and all the players want to play.
Pop is coaching to win and at this point the player that has the advantage is Durant at his position with the most experience in FIBA play.
One thing Lillard is doing is drawing attention and has to be covered. He will never be as good on defense as Jrue.
Lillard will start the next game as expected. Pop will make adjustments depending on who is playing well.
Expect Durant to get the call again to carry the team. That is after all what Pop is doing and asking the team to do.

Bro, at some point you just gotta' stop. No way you actually think this shit you post. NO WAY!
You don't think that Dame is having--relative to expectations--the most disappointing Olympics of any player on the men's BB team? Who would you say has been more disappointing?

I know what this is: Dame REALLY wants to stay with the Blazers so he's INTENTIONALLY tanking his trade value!

Close game between France and Slovenia, 78-78 with 4:40 left.

Doncic one rebound away from a triple double.

Late reset of the shot clock literally as France was forced to jack up a bad shot. France was screwed.

Fournier you idiot! Obvious, and unnecessary offensive foul to foul out of the game.

My muthafucking dawg for the win!!!!!

I thought Doncic was going to win the game for Slovenia, but he passed it. His teammate had an open drive to the basket, but Nico came from way back to erase the layup!

Now YOU have to face him for the Bronze...

I’m not looking forward to it. Not sure if we should focus our defence on Doncic, and make the others beat us. Or if we should focus on stopping the others, knowing that Doncic can’t score 80. In the end I don’t think we’ll do either, we’ll probably just focus on our own game, and back ourselves to be good enough to win.

Have Exum spend all his energy on nothing but simply blanketing Luka all game long.

Because he is a 25 year old 3 time all star, 2 time all NBA first team defensive player, who would be a huge upgrade over me-j, as well as a great starting point to a rebuild WHEN Dame asks to be traded
I'm not saying that because I don't like Simmons - I'm saying that because we should just trade Dame for Simmons. Simmons and CJ works better than Simmons and Dame.

Gotta say, it was very un-Luka-like to offload the ball like that. I mean, it was a smart play, given that he'd just attracted France's best two defenders, leaving the paint open, but...

So he is unplayable at the end of games and in the playoffs and not really what could be considered a franchise player for Philly but would be a great starting point to rebuild here in Portland?

Funny how Doc Rivers manages to lose from 2-0 up everywhere he goes but THIS time it was all Simmons' fault...

Plus-minus for this year's playoffs (Fuck - WHY couldn't we get Batum?):

Bear in mind that Philly only played two rounds, in contrast to the other teams on this list.
