If I understand rasheedfan, people are gay because men wanted to sleep with beautiful (male) angels? I don't.
More to the actual subject. Some of you may have seen a woman on MSNBC last night, sobbing, she could not get word of her son. She had heard his boyfriend was shot but nothing of her son. Sadly, her son and his boyfriend were both killed.
The man who sold the killer his guns is, ironically, a serious Islamophobe who posted on Twitter obscenities against Muslims and Islamic religion. He also said President Obama should be publicly executed:

In a macabre note, after the killer was dead and the dead victims were being carried out, the phones in their pockets kept ringing, as frantic family members tried to call them.
While people have been lining up to donate blood, and the local Muslim community is organizing blood drives, gay men still can't donate. Even if totally healthy. It's much easier for a person on a terrorist watch list to get a gun than for a gay man to give blood.
Governor Rick Scott still refuses to say the gay community was specifically targeted. Florida's foster care system is in crisis; many foster children are in severely abusive homes. But the state refuses to allow gays and lesbians to be foster parents.
More than 100 anti-gay bills have been proposed and passed in various states in the past year. In Dallas, for several months there have been assaults on gay men outside clubs; the men have been beaten with baseball bats. No one has been arrested.
23 transgender women, mostly Black and Latina, were murdered last year specifically for being trans.
LGBT people are twice as likely to be victims of hate crimes than Jews or African-Americans.
But please don't forget to offer your "prayers" before you pass another hate law.
