The conservative (almost always the thinking type) can learn the feeling (liberal) point of view, but can hardly ever accept it, because it is illogical.

Case in point:

Liberal: The terrorist are coming, we need to eliminate all guns so the terrorist don't kill us!
Conservative: Fuck that! I am buying another so I can deal with them!

2nd Liberal: They are Not terrorist, their homophobes! We need to keep guns from homophobes like most Christians.

Obama: Yes, take their guns and religion! We need to talk politely with the followers of the beautiful Q'ran to see what we can do better. I know they will like us when we become kind.

Liberal: Yes! (Sitting on the floor of Congress)
2nd Liberal: Yes! ( pouting on the floor of Congress)

How often are lairs used for purposes of good? Did Superman have a lair? Did Batman? They have hideouts, sure, but lairs? I don't think so. A lair is evil by nature. Good guys have fortresses and caves, but never lairs.
