June 28, 2007: Traded by the New York Knickerbockers (as a 2008 2nd round draft pick) to the Portland Trail Blazers for Demetris Nichols.

June 26, 2008: Drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2nd round (36th pick) of the 2008 NBA Draft.
June 28, 2008: As part of a 3-team trade, traded by the Portland Trail Blazers to the Chicago Bulls; the Chicago Bulls traded Sonny Weems to the Denver Nuggets; the Chicago Bulls traded a 2009 2nd round draft pick (Jon Brockman) and a 2010 2nd round draft pick (Jerome Jordan) to the Portland Trail Blazers; and the Denver Nuggets traded a 2009 2nd round draft pick (Patrick Mills) to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Good trade or bad trade? I realize it was for additional 2nd round picks, but Asik alone be worth the 3 picks the Blazers received in return, IMO.

Not if that pick for Brockman (traded to the Queens) would have been used on DeJuan Blair.

I'd rather have Asik. Blair barely got off the bench against Memphis, and Randolph abused him when he did.

i wanted them to draft him and when they traded him i was all :(

I was high on Patty Mills when we drafted him and I didn't know much about asik but nowadays it sucks we traded asik basically.

Kind of evens out the LMA for Tyrus Thomas draft day trade. Well, not really.

We've made a lot of really poor draft picks.

When I look back on it, how is that KP was deemed such a brilliant talent evaluator? When he wasn't picking in the top ten (top six really) his track record fucking blows. The only player he got outside of the lottery that I would say met or exceeded expectations is Nic and even then I'm not sure where his career is going.

When it's been just KP running the show only ONE player that we drafted is anything of substance. Though, it was Jason Filippi who really pushed KP to take Batum. All in all, KP is an absolute DISASTER when it comes to the NBA draft.

MB (via Courtside) said the people he's talked to don't view Petteri Koponen as an NBA prospect. Claver and Freeland wont join the team "anytime soon."

Rudy Fernandez
Petteri Koponen
Jerryd Baless
Victor Claver
Jeff Pendergraph
Dante Cunningham
Patty Mills
Luke Babbitt
Armon Johnson
Elliot Williams

An absolute disaster of a talent evaluator Pritchard is, at least when it comes to the draft.

So ... Pritchard doesn't get any credit for the Roy and LMA deals, even though Paul Allen has said he ran that draft?

You're such a Me Too/Beta. LOL

I dont get off to arguing just for the sake of arguing. I know it some weird fetish of yours. Whatever floats your boat.

Some kind of small penis syndrome, or something.
