Woke up in time for the 2nd half here in Israel, thought we played a great game despite Harden in the 3rd, Howard in the 4th, countering our every basket.
Then when we couldn't get the defensive rebound like 3 straight times to eventually be down two on Parsons basket I thought "man, what a way to lose" and was starting to get all deterministic on what it means to be a Blazer fan, always being heart broken, etc.
I knew there was 0.9 seconds and thought maybe Lillard can have B-Roy 3, then remembered it was against Houston and thought "no, it can't happen twice" and thought it was fitting that it would take making a B-Roy 3 for Lillard and the team to surpass Roy's team achievements and get to the 2nd round for the first time since game 7...
Then he made it.
I was screaming Yesh!!!!Yesh!!!!Yesh!!!! (a word in Hebrew which is actually translated "there is") running around the room, it was maybe my happiest moment watching the Blazers. It felt like redemption and it was as dramatic and improbable and amazing as you could ever expect.
