That's not what Roman Polanski's wife should be unhappy about...his rape of an underaged girl might be a bit more importantSomebody's not happy at all.
Roman Polanski's wife angry Quentin Tarantino didn't consult him for new movie
By Bruce Haring | Deadline
Roman Polanski’s wife criticized writer/director Quentin Tarantino on Friday for not consulting with her husband on his new film, which features the tragic story of the murder of Polanski’s ex-wife, Sharon Tate.
Tarantino’s "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" just debuted at the Cannes Film Festival to rave reviews. But Emmanuelle Seigner, Polanski’s wife, said in a French language post on Instagram that Tarantino was “using the tragic life of someone and then walking all over them” to tell a story.
Tate was murdered by members of the Manson family in 1969. Seigner said Tarantino should have spoken with Polanski about the film’s treatment of that event.
“I am just saying that it doesn’t bother them (in Hollywood) to make a film which takes Roman and his tragic story… while at the same time they have made him a pariah. And all without consulting him of course,” she wrote.
Polanski has been in exile from Hollywood since 1978, when he admitted to the statutory rape of a 13-year-old girl. He rarely speaks to the media, but his wife has taken up his causes via social media on several occasions.
Polanski is represented in the Tarantino film, but is only a minor character. Actress Margot Robbie plays Sharon Tate, and said, “Quentin said it to me early on — she’s the heartbeat of the story. I just saw her as a ray of light,” Robbie said.
Man, I loved the part of the trip through Orange county, traveling to San Diego from Oregon. The part from LA to San Diego was by local bus through Orange county with about 10 or 12 stops. Fresh squeeze Orange Juice at every stop! You can't imagine what that was like for a kid from Oregon before foods were shipped all over the country.Orange County was so different when I grew up there. We built forts in the organge groves across the street. Now it’s a mall. It’s all a mall.
That’s one reason I moved to Portland. More of the kind of childhood I had for my kids. And the people here rock.![]()

I will always own that movie. Comedy gold!Big Trouble in Little China comes immediately to mind.
I've only seen one good movie of his, Chinatown.but yet he still gets applauded at the academy awards?
When I heard that the film would feature Sharon Tate as a character I was really hoping and expecting that Tarantino would add Bruce Lee as well. Bruce Lee was the fight choreographer on a Sharon Tate film.
I want to see you naked! I go to Gunnison Beach in NJ once a year.sure, many times....cops are terrible there about letting you park though, they act like it's a private beach..
No one ever wants to see me naked.![]()
This looks so fresh. I know a lot of people hate Terrantino and his style, but I love it.

Saw it. 3.25 outa 5. It was good, not great, like Sly said
No, but he is damn handsomeIs the added .25 because of how handsome Brad Pitt is?
Advice from LannyJust saw it.
God damn Brad Pitt is a handsome man.
Good, not great, movie.
Not my favorite Tarantino.
8/10
Once is enough and you made me watch you disrobe when I was over at your place for drinks. Believe you me if I could take it back I'd give you your hundred bucks back because that's a sight forever burned into my brain and not in a good way. SHUDDERNo one ever wants to see me naked.![]()
Why was it that QT didn’t put Margot Robbie in the movie that she went to see as herself (Tate). QT put Leo in as Steve McQueen’s possible replacement in The Great Escape. Kept Tate as her actual self. Out of respect?
Any of you who have seen the movie agree with this?

Just watched it. This was pretty much my take too. Not his best, but still good.Good, not great. Agreed. Pitt and Leo saved this movie. If those roles were played by damn near anyone else the movie would have fallen completely flat. I know QT movies meander but Jesus. Almost 2.5 hours without any discernible plot was kinda tough. Last 15 or so minutes though was absolute gold.
