About a month ago I started playing poker on a site and uploaded the following photo as my avatar.

Next I changed my Avatar to the following pic of Sammy Davis Jr.

When I used this avatar no positive comments but I got quite a few racist remarks, asking if I have actual chips or just bananas or that if I won I could buy my freedom. Also less creative ones take offs on the N-word.

Last, I switched to this following avatar.

All the sudden dozens of people asked me to be their "friend" they played me easy, asked what I was up to in my life. They also made tons of comments about how hey either also like cat or more commonly, wishe they were my cat.

Anyway, I just thought it was pretty funny how differently people acted considering there was the same overweight 39 year old Jewish man playing poker and typing.

This is a funny subject. About 10 years ago I was into online MMO geekfests and once made a female character because I was bored and it was something to do. After a month or so of playing that character I had to delete her as the amount of unwanted attention I got was ridiculous. People gave me shit all the time and "helped" me out, I got weird personal messages and requests to be peoples girlfriends. Even when I told them I was a guy and to shut the fuck up some of them just got weirder. Thats when I realized that life for hot chicks is both infinitely easier and infinitely harder than life for everyone else.

On your poker note. I read once that one good strategy to win money online is to make a female character name or avatar.
