Only ONE game on TNT this season

Let's look at some of the teams that play on TNT.

The Lakers (4 times), the Knicks (3 times), Pheonix (3 times), Sacremento (2 times), Utah and Minnesota. If you think we're surely worse than all those teams then you are a debbie downer.

LA and NY dont count their the biggest markets so their on by default. PHX? They suck too so they should be honored like us their on more than once let alone 2 times. SAC? Sac will be better than us but for the most part I can agree with that I have no clue why tnt would pick them up. UTAH? their darkhorse 8 seed with a great young squad everybody knows that team is up and coming although they lost Dante Exum for awhile which will hurt them bad but tnt probably picked them up before he went down. MINN? your kidding me right? That team is probably one of the best young teams thats ready to break out soon. Im not even going to name their young guys they absolutely deserve to be shown a few times.

That sounds like a description for us.
New York and LAL? Yeah, they're the biggest markets being shown 3 and 4 times. Utah isn't a dark horse 8 seed, I don't know how you figure. They're in the same boat.
Who the fuck cares if we're shown or not? I don't think any one cares enough to feel "honored" except for you, but you're lost in your feelings as it is.

Question for you.

how do you become proven without getting a chance to prove yourself?

Not all the stars in the NBA were lotto picks. Many lotto picks are busts, while many mid level to second rounders become stars after a few years of adjustments and potentially a change of scenery.

Seriously, just because we don't have a bunch of superstars doesn't mean we have a bunch of guys who don't have any type of potential whatsoever.
What makes you think these guys have no chance of the team gelling, while individuals grow and improve their game beyond their previous seasons, or college play?

Do you not agree that an employee can work for one company doing something, but if not put into the right position, can fail, but then go to another company that does the same thing as the previous, but they put the employee into the right position and then the employee succeeds? IT also happens within the same company all the time. I started out in the shop at my employee as the shop manager assistant. I excelled. I got promoted to estimator and failed. Got moved to the Shipping/ Purchasing manager and have now found a home in my position that is high reward for my hard work and i'm a star in our office. I don't have 4 years of college like some of the office guys, so I didn't come out of college and get the big salary, but I am equal to them now.

Skill sets are all about how they are utilized can you prove that all the new guys on the roster had their skill set properly utilized in the past and their is no chance they can learn, changer, improve?

If not, then you should tone down the negativity because it has no validity...I mean pull thew plug already then...
At this point for a few of you that seem to be sooo jaded to this team sucking because we have no one proven, well if you have the same mentality in life, your life must be pretty tough and full of bitterness and hatred.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion as are you, but those that speak it, should defend it. I dare you to answer my Q's...
We actually had Adam Morrison and Hashim Thabeet if even for a short time...you're right Orion..they were high draft picks and we let them slip right through our hands. (sarcasm doesn't need a green font)

Well
I was pretty certain there wouldn't even be an attempt at answering my Q's,... Guess I was right.

Chauncey Billups is an excellent example of the point you're trying to make. However, Chauncey is more the exception than the rule, but it does happen. I'm hoping we have at least one Chauncey on the current roster. If not, there's always next year. Jeez, now I sound like a Chicago Cubs fan.......

Gerald Henderson might be our version of Chauncey with this roster.

If I find some time, I will put together a list of non lotto picks who have been an all star more than once. I will put together another list of 2nd rounders that made their way into the starting linups of their respective teams. I am willing to bet the lists are a lot longer than most think...

Plumlee and Henderson are proven. Aminu proved himself last year, especially in the playoffs. CJ and Leonard are well on their way and are exciting young players that would be reason for TNT to cover them. Davis is definitly proven. Kaman's proven even though he'll likely get no minutes.
Damn man. I agree, the above players are proven. That said, we don't have proof of much talent. We will not register, thus not attractive to TNT.

I think are playing style could be attractive. We have a bunch of guys who play hard and some great athletes with young intriguing players looking to breakout. That's as intriguing as bottom tier playoff teams in my opinion.

Oh well.

TNT doesn't think we're marketable. We aren't a big market, and everyone not wearing a Homer Up! shirt thinks we'll stink up the joint on national TV.

Meh. I think their commentators are self important company schills, and I don't enjoy their broadcasts anyway.

Regardless, in this business respect has to be earned. The majority of the players on our team haven't earned any yet.

I hope our players have a chip on their shoulder. It's up to the players to shut the naysayers up.
