Open Roster Spot Predictions

Without a doubt they will sign a player. You don't want to go into the playoffs with an empty roster spot. My guess either McGee or Prince.

A third PG would be a better idea than a 7th forward. I'd like to see Farmar. Maybe they bring Darius Morris back?

I wonder though if any PG FA would be better than Blake and/or CJ.

I'd think maybe a few 10 days here and there, and hold off in case of an injury. I don't think we'll see anything like Prince coming here.

I think he'll keep it open for a while. Wait and see what pops up.

Need to wait and see how the new guys fit, and all the buyouts happen. Unless a no-brainer comes along.

When's the deadline for playoff eligibility for incoming players?

Seth Curry.

Hate Dukies in the pros, but this can work. This guy is absolutely tearing up the Dleague.

You can sign them whenever, I believe, they just have to be waived before March 1st.

Players must be waived before March 1st to be playoff eligible. The list of PG's isn't terrible impressive right now. Nate Robinson is probably the most talented but PG or SG?

I think Farmar would be. Optimally, CJ should be the backup 1, Blake 3rd string, Crabbe the 3rd string 2, and we could bring in a 3rd string 3/4. However, CJ hasn't shown that he can do that, so I think the safest play would be to bring in a PG just in case. Honestly, Krypto-Nate would probably be the best option.

Krypto-Nate actually distributes the ball better than Farmar... Kind of a shocker to me. CJ is a far better shooter than either.

The Blazers could always waive Gee to make room for 2 signings as well.

What about players that aren't waived, and aren't on NBA rosters, like Jermaine?

I think if we do anything (there are reports we won't make another move) then it is a pure PG that doesn't mind riding the pine most of the time.

Prince just got traded back to Detroit so it probably won't be him now.

Just curious, but do the Nuggets have enough roster space to take on all the players we just traded them? Will they have to renounce anyone?

They only had 14, so they could make a 2-for-3 deal without waiving anyone.

After he is cut by Denver, Victor Claver!
