Follow-up observation:

I really like the way the team moves on offense so far, Lillard looks pretty natural at the wheel.

I like the movement as well, I don't think people are used to having a PG that can toss lasers at you

Lillard needs to control the turnovers - otherwise, I love him as a PG. He is literally everything I asked for when we were getting our shit waxed in the playoffs consistently.

Actually I'm going to disagree. For a rookie we should want to see him try to push himself as close to the bleeding edge as much as possible. he needs more than anything to create and try things when there isn't any immediate pressure to win. Tightening up and being afraid to make mistakes is counter productive at this stage.

The Blazers can't guard Howard, and the refs have also called quite a few cheap ones on us. But you gotta like seeing the Blazers hang with the Lakers. If they didn't have a dominant center, we'd be mopping the floor with them right now. Much more entertaining than Nate ball.

We've always played the lakers tough though.

And I love watching Wesley Matthews play. I don't care what people think of him.

I wanted Nash. I was wrong. Then I wanted Harrison Barnes. Wrong again. Thank you Olshey for making the right moves.

This team is 100% more watchable with Lillard instead of Felton.

I didn't type it appropriately if thats what you gleaned from that post.

I think that is his biggest weakness - turnovers - and I'd like him to improve in that area.

I don't want him to change how he plays.

it's funny to think that with as awesome as Howard is shooting (in the 1st half) at the FT, he's still shooting 50% for the year.

Wesley is what he is, a steady enough starter (when he isn't hobbled by a torn ankle ligament for half a year). I hope he has a nice year.

Anyone else notice that Nolan Smith doesn't look any more athletic than 38 year old Steve Nash? He's like Steve Nash without the shooting, passing, saavy, and ability to run the offense.

Wes is above average for a starting SG. Not a star, but a solid role player.

It's his first NBA game, we have no idea what his biggest weakness is yet. And the turnovers thing, is just part of the territory with rookie point guards.

That would be fucking hilarious if that was really Paul Allen in the Ronald McDonald costume.

And he's playing exactly like I thought he would outside of the Phoenix offense.

I kind of wish Paul Allen was a little more quirky eccentric, instead of nerdy eccentric, and did shit like that.

Not David Wu weird, but Bud Clark weird.

He's also not surrounded by shooters

Channing Frye was his center for crying out loud. Big difference between him and Dwight Howard.

I just realized something. Raymond FatOne is no longer desecrating a Blazers uniform and filling up half of my screen. I'm so damned happy.

Stotts > McMillan

So much more fun to watch.

Thank Batum misses Nate?

got away with a couple fouls there on those dwight howard shots, imho

Nash leaving only helps the Lakers IMHO. His role isn't well defined right now.

Batum should grow a goatee.

Kaleb Canales must be so confused right now.

"So this is what a real Blazer game looks like."
