I hope they can come up with a punishment for him and if he still has eligibility and is on scholarship I hope his scholarship gets revoked and that his parents were there to listen to their disgusting son's speech. This reminds me of a video posted a couple months ago about a military general completely condemning sexism or racism or whatever it was.
I watched the video and agreed with it completely.
I believed he covered and said everything which needed to be said. To say anything else would've been nonsense.
However someone posted in the topic when the topic didn't get many replies. 'What no responses from this forum?'
I quoted said poster saying.

A racist message posted outside an Air Force Academy dorm in September was written by one of the alleged victims, the school confirmed Tuesday, casting blaring initial coverage of the incident -- which lauded the school superintendent's forceful reaction in an apparent bid to ding President Trump -- in a new light.

The student who wrote the slurs, which were discovered in September outside the rooms of five black students at an Air Force Academy dormitory in Colorado Springs, Colo., was no longer at the school, the Academy confirmed. In a written statement Tuesday, the academy said: "We can confirm that one of the cadet candidates who was allegedly targeted by racist remarks written outside of their dorm room was actually responsible for the act. The individual admitted responsibility and this was validated by the investigation."

The surprising announcement was a jarring turn in an episode that prompted the superintendent of the Colorado Springs academy to deliver a stern message warning students that racists were not welcome at the school.

That the University allowed this fuckhead to continue is a disgrace. Someone in authority needed to take the stage and take the microphone away, then tell him to leave and apologize. Not let this shit go on and then say "have fun".

And neither the brave woman who wrote the article, nor I, nor any other woman, needs bodyman, maris, cippy, or anyone else to mansplain that gee we are just too sensitive. As Emma Gonzalez says, I call bullshit.

I am profoundly sorry for my opening monologue at the Wally’s. The words I spoke and the language I used cannot be defended in anyway. The following apology along with my steadfast commitment to better myself are the words and promises the UP community deserves from me.

I said things that hurt many people in this community and I want to deeply apologize for that. When I wrote the script for the Wally’s, I hoped to use self-deprecation and irony as a tool for sharing a few stories about my immigrant and diaspora experience. I realize now that it does not matter what was written in jest or what was said in sarcasm; the crux of the content was grossly inappropriate, and I am unquestionably in the wrong for that. There is absolutely no room for that rhetoric on our campus or within our community.

It truly breaks my heart to have caused pain to my peers because I did not pay attention to my own blind spots. I am committed to bettering myself and addressing those blindspots through discussions with my professors, peers, and community leaders. This language has no place on our campus, in our community, or in our world. The words I spoke should have no place in history, they should have no place in today, and more importantly I commit to ensuring they have no part in our future.
