Are you talking about the $50 Billion that was owed to Iran, none of which came out of the U.S. Treasury? Much of that money was held in foreign banks. We just gave them permission to pay back money that was owed to Iran.
So, you see, the money we gave to Iran didn't cost us a single penny.

I'd probably still rank Andrew Jackson first on that score, but worst modern President ever? Trump has little competition--even Nixon was probably slightly better, though Nixon is probably the closest comparable to Trump, in terms of corruption and race-baiting.
