By the way, I was actually referring to the part about silence which means nobody says anything which just didn't make sense else why have the thread.
 
I know that, have adhered and will continue to adhere to it but it doesn't make logical sense.
 
The whole concept of thread segregation speaks volumes about anyone who needs segregation to be safe....I might suggest removing the Safe space tag from the title of Orange man bad thread..it's not needed over there and serves no purpose.
 
Again, I was asked by someone in this forum to try separate threads in support and opposition of Trump.

We are always looking for new ways to promote healthy conversation and debate in the forum.

So I decided to try the suggestion.

IT DID NOT WORK.

That is my fault. I own it.

Instead of making it easier for people to share their political views it created more arguments, confusion, and anger that required intervention and action from staff.

I tried something different and it didn't work.

I sincerely apologize for that.

I don't have to enter any thread but I do in the interest of adding something thoughtful to the discussion. But this thread seems to be interested in no thoughtful additions to the discussion.
Another assumption of mine is that additions by Trump haters are welcome as long as they have nothing to do with negatives about Trump. I say this because I don't want to be stepping on anyone's toes here. If I'm not welcome under any circumstances then I will respectfully bow out not because I think it's right but in the interest of courtesy.

I understand that but I want to be courteous to ABM and others who may want a private place to meet. So, I intend to respect their wishes just as soon as I get some additional needed clarification.
