We have lost plenty of games over the years by playing down to competition. Those games started out very similarly to that one.

The Cristobal era certainly. The Chip era, virtually never. This current staff is not one-dimensional, stubborn, and predictable. They are not playing a lower possesion style which allows one or two mistakes to allow an inferior team to steal a game.

What happened under previous staffs with diferent teams has zero impact on results this season, IMO.

what's crazy is that Oregon has not lost a fumble this season. They have fumbled 3 times but recovered all of them

I'm not sure if this is still true, but two weeks ago, USC had recovered EVERY fumble in thier games (their own or their oppoents). Never seen that type of turnover luck in my life!

I would argue it happened in the Mark Helfrich era as well.

Helfrich, nor any of the players from the 2016 roster have any impact on outcomes this season.

Different coaching staff, OC, DC, roster, scheme, opposing coach, etc etc. I don't think those things carry over.

You could make the same case for injuries and the blazers curse, but here we are Tince. Here we are……

Probably no surprise to you, but I also don't believe in Blazer injury curses as a future predictor of Blazer injuries. I'm assuming you don't either, right?

The Beavs are behind a team called "Liberty"? What's their mascot, a bell?

Happy to see the Beavs finally receive a well-earned Top-25 ranking.

Anyone else notice the "other" OSU lost 48-0 yesterday? And still ranked at 18?

I do not think this will happen (I could list off the reasons why), but the rumors are already starting.

Having grown up a fan of the PAC it pains me to say this...but I am pretty sure that anybody out of the SEC see a PAC job as nothing more than a temporary stepping stone.

The SEC certainly has a lot more to offer.

I don't think Jonathan Smith or Dan Lanning leave their current jobs for a job at Vandy or Kentucky, so there are likely other factors at play.

I predict neither the Ducks nor Beavers will lose today.
I predict you will be right about the PAC 12's no. 1 Ducks and no. 3 Beavers. Actually the Beavers should be tied with USC at no. 2.
