Politics Oregon looks to pass 3 new gun laws

I like the idea of a $2 per spent shell casing return fee.

As usual, this is all pointless, and will have zero meaningful impact on so called "gun violence". It does absolutely nothing to address social hardships (jobs, education, etc) or mental health; of which are the two biggest factors in determining whether or not someone is prone to violence. Not guns.

"This bill allows for a protective order to remove your Second Amendment rights," she said, "not because of a criminal conviction, but based on third-party allegations using an evidentiary standard that falls far below what's normally required for the removing of fundamental rights."

Yep. And I've read numerous examples over the years of such violations occurring. But of course, politicians never talk about THOSE.

No doubt this is giving Michael Bloomberg an orgasm. That fucking asshole.

And if you don't think that's true, then you obviously haven't been paying attention.

These Bloomberg Bills will only apply to those Real Americans too poor to defend themselves in court, as all 3 clearly violate several Constitutional rights. The State will waste millions in failed attempts to enforce them, and eventually people will have to defend themselves against Bloomberg's Brown Shirts.

Fun fact:

Gun laws don't apply to muzzleloading weapons.

Perhaps you have not considered everything you could get.

I don't think anyone is coming to take away your STDs. At least not intentionally.

barfo

It still boils down to the fact that if someone wants a gun, they'll get a gun. None of this matters.

The only problem is it puts responsible gun owners in a bind because, although they dont agree with this pointless legislation, they also dont want to break the law. This is the whole point to these types of legislation. Liberals who hate guns but claim they dont want to ban them are slowly trying to make gun ownership nearly impossible through multiple layers of ridiculous regulations. Yeah, guns wont be illegal *technically* but if you want to own one you may have to jump through hoops for a couple years (and pay an assload of fees im sure, any liberal legislation includes fees and taxes) if you would like the privilege of owning one.

A legit person gets the permit. Still anyone can snap and have a personality implosion. What do they do then>? Another fuckin law???
