Probably the fact that it outright bans half the guns people already own and places extremely stringent regulations on the rest. It makes gun ownership extremely complicated to the point where people can hardly own them without the fear of being penalized and punished. It is a not-so-sly, backhanded method of prohibition through regulation.
I'm no gun nut and it is an idiotic idea pushed by idiots.

I hope @Lanny takes you off of ignore. I barely remember you ever being over the top rude in here if at all.

I recently took the only person I had on ignore off because it was becoming too difficult to read the main board with all the drama he is involved in. Name calling, hall monitor moderating or just plain bitching about everything. Uggh.

Mainly I'd click show ignored content and then have to do it on every page. Got tedious.
CupWizier?

Thanks.
I can have my moments but most of it is artificial trolling. Only one guy here pushes my bittons on the serious.

Back to the topic:

Everyone who owns a firearm should have to have a license AND liability insurance.

You have to prove you can operate a vehicle safely before you get in the road. The same should apply to firearms. They need more regulation.

If we can regulate the 1st amendment, we can regulate the 2nd one too.

AND, the gun advocates are about to lose this fight anyway so figure it out now.

The kids are coming.

You don't need a license to own or operate a car on private property. You need a permit to possess a loaded gun out in public in the city. The comparison doesn't hold water.

You can own a car and not drive it. No license necessary. No insurance necessary.

I could give a fuck if you don't think the comparison matters to you. Neither do the people that are gonna change the law.

MFs run around talking about mental illness but don't wanna DO SHIT about them getting guns.

Well, make people go through a background check, get a license AND liability insurance.

Regulate your shit.

We don't really care what you think.

Fallacy. In Oregon one must register their car within 30 days of taking ownership. You cannot register your car without one.

That said, I don't care how anyone feels about adding NEW regulations on firearms.

Who is we? Are we really at a point in society where you don't give a shit about people's opinions? It's your way or the highway? Dviss you have a very fucked up view of the world.

Every state I am aware of requires everyone to take a firearm safety course, before they are eligible for a hunting license.

Also many states require a separate safety course for hunting with a bow and arrow.

In addition, a mandatory course is required to hunt migratory birds and warerfowl.

I wish it was mandatory for everyone that goes camping to take a course on how to behave in the woods. I've seen way too many environmental activists that do not know the proper way to dispose of their human waste, just for starters.

The people that believe guns should be regulated.

You apparently don't believe any regulating should occur.

If that's the case, you're wrong, prepare to lose.

We (the people who want gun control) are tired of debating with y'all (the people who believe gun control means using both hands). We'll pass the regulations without you.

And frankly, we're done giving a shit what you think about it.

People are dying.

Sure...

We're past the point of debating about it any longer.

Now's the time for people to start defeating these gun nuts and passing legislation.

My way?????

The majority of Americans want common sense gun control.

You are on the wrong side of the argument.

Had to look it up. You are correct, only required in Oregon for hunters under age 18. I stand corrected.

However. If an Oregon hunter wants to hunt in another state, they will be required to take the course.

Technically, I do not need to take the firearm safety courses. Because of my age, I am grandfathered in for most states.

I was one of the first in line to take every firearm safety course offered. I felt it was the responsible thing to do.

How do you know they're "environmental activists"?

Did you discuss their political views mid shit?

I figure anyone in the woods during hunting season that is banging pots and pans to spook the elk and deer out of my hunting area, is an activist.

I think they should go home and eat their soy burger, yuck.
