Seems you got that backwards, but not surprising because you are in one of the tiny pockets of ignorance.

Below is a map of Real America.

1. Does that mean that the vote of country folk is more important than a vote by city folk?
2. Let's see how well Republicans do in the next election.

Oh yeah, I'm so ignorant that I've got a measured IQ of 147 and three college degrees. I've worked on nuclear missiles and a laser ring gyro. I also worked on a high level group at Boeing to improve producibility of their jumbo jets. While working at Tektronix I used the fastest ocilloscope in the world, had a sweep rate faster than the speed of light.

Your turn.

Amazing!

Ha! But then you still need assistance with spelling. Perhaps a little tutoring from @riverman would help.
He assured me it would help me. I rarely catch spelling errors but the lack the s in oscilloscope did catch my eye. I suppose it is because we always just shorted the name to Scope. Hard to do without the S.

What caught my eye even more was the conflating of the physics in the use of rate verses speed. This is the second time you have made this statement of incomparable measurements.
I used an analog oscilloscope back in the day until the sweep repetition rate became too slow to be usable with computers of the the day. I suspect you are thinking of the left to right magnetic deflection rate of the end of the electron beam which does work speed of light enhanced by the mechanical advantage of the level arm principal of the beam as the lever and the sweep magnet pivot placement. Sort of a catchy meaningless thing to say. But I did note that @SlyPokerDog liked it.

It seems like the idea is to keep them from kids and thieves but the obvious outcome is that it would keep you from getting it quickly if you need it for self defense.

The motives for writing this sort of shit is so obvious.

Go down the Walmart where they lock up the guns for sale. They are on display there for you to inspect. Hand gun in the display case, locked up of course. Long guns sitting on the shelve with a cable running through the trigger guard loops of all the guns, with the cable secured with some sort of lock, often a padlock.
Time the clerk after you ask him/her to let you inspect one of the guns. How long does it take? Is this too long to be of any help if you really needed the use of a gun?
Putting this sort of shit into law is disingenuous with total disrespect for the right of people to protect themselves with arms which is their right in this nation. Always has been and always will be worth fighting to retain.

Sounds like you've identified a problem.

barfo

Yup! The problem is those no good thieves.

No one is trying to find answers of how to stop/lockup the bad guys with guns. Everyone is going after the good guys with guns.

Wish we could still hang thieves like we could in the old days.

You can still hang thieves. You just can't get away with it.

So everyone means bad guys then?

That's right, everyone coming after my guns is a bad guy.

Riverman is a bad guy
SPD is a bad doggie.
Further is a bad guy.
Lanny is a Bad guy, with a capitol B.
Barfo is a bad TBD.

How I decided to store MY guns, in MY locked house, is MY choice. Keep you nose out of MY house.

I don't want your guns.

Just for the record, I've owned guns for 60 years. I now own two.

Just thought you'd like to know.

I bought my first one 66 years ago.
I now have one for deer, another for Elk, Grouse, and Ducks.
Then I have one for little guys, big guys, a lot of guys.
I don't hunt for food anymore. Never did do it for sport.

I also own two rifles
Mine are a hunting rifle and a shotgun. The shotgun is effective for game birds and trespassers (Get off my lawn). The hunting rifle is good for big game and the neighbors' barking dogs.

I have cougar and bear on my property....that's the only reason I feel the need to have them....I haven't hunted with a gun since I got out of the military

Well, you would need it for that. Me? I haven't hunted since my disability made it difficult to walk.

Having BBQ elk burgers for dinner tonight.
Elk is the best. I've had other hunters tell me that Moose is even better than elk which I find hard to believe. Someone else said Moose was a little greasy.

It may depend on what they feed on. I like moose the best. Whitetail deer next, and then elk.

I have tons of whitetail deer and elk around my house. We used to have a lot of moose, but the wolves cleaned them out. Moose appears to also be the wolves favorite.

I would love to come!

I did take one Elk a year when I lived on my ranch near the Wallowa River. It is easier to have the butcher just do me a beef but geez!
Elk is better! Yearling Moose might be the all time winner.
