He's lucky he didn't get an arson charge. Reckless burning, depositing burning materials on forest lands, unlawful possesion of fireworks, criminal michief, and reckless endangerment. How time do those 5 counts carry?

Hard to say, especially since it looks like it's all in juvenile court.

Damn thing is only about 3 miles away from my parents house. Luckily they are on the west side of 97 and not in any evacuation zone, but still scary.

We have been lucky the smoke has stayed away from us. The bombers flyway for this fire between Sisters and Culver is pretty much over my house so getting lots of looks at the underside of them.
