A technical here wasn't warranted IMO -- I think the refs were worried about the game getting chippy underneath, and they decided to call a quick one.
What do you think: a no call, a double tech, a tech on Yao, a tech on Joel. What would have made the most sense here? Pryzbilla does admit he gave a "shove", but as can be seen in the replay it was just in response to Yao's momentum carrying his massive body into him. The refs need to just understand who's involved. Pryzbilla and Yao are not the kind of guys who'll break out in a fight. Just let them play basketball; they're mature enough to handle themselves the right way.

Przybilla gets technical: Joel Przybilla was awarded the second technical foul of this series with 6:53 left in the first quarter on Friday after he fouled Yao Ming, the two became tangled and Przybilla shoved Houston's center. But it came as a shock to the Blazers' veteran center.
"I don't know," he said, responding to a question asking why it happened. "I didn't say a single thing. There was a foul and (Yao's) momentum kept him going so I just kind of gave him a shove. I think (the officials) are cleaning things up and ... setting the tone for the game. But I didn't say a word."
After the incident, Ron Artest ran over and got involved. At least initially, it appeared Artest was the one who received the technical. Instead, it went to a flabbergasted Przybilla.
"If I'm getting T'd up, let me get a few f-bombs in at least," Przybilla said, laughing. "Let me have my say."
