Does it seem like the original logo seems to be making a much more regular occurrence now? I notice it more on the broadcast, and even in merchandise that the team sells.

"The team will unveil a new logo, uniforms and a possible sponsor as the NBA transitions to a partnership with Nike. The Portland Trail Blazersplan to unveil a new logo and newjerseys in the spring of 2017, according to President and CEO Chris McGowan at the team's Media Day Monday."

"I think it’s a modernization, I wouldn’t call it drastic," said McGowan of the proposed changes. "I think we’re blessed with some of the best uniforms in professional sports, our fans really like our identity, people know it whether you live in Portland or not. So I don’t know if drastic is necessarily what we need to do, but I think you always need to modernize. When you have the opportunity to work with create people like the folks at Nike, you’ve got to take advantage of that opportunity. We’re having fun with it, but like anything that we do, we’re testing it, we’re talking to fans, we’re using survey information to make sure we’re being guided in the right way so we’re not putting something out there that’s not authentic to who we are or not something that wouldn't be generally supported by our fans."
Third, behind Felton and Walton. If Chris McGowan ditches the pinwheel one year after ditching M&M he would be the most hated man in the history of Portland sports......and that says a lot
Third, behind Felton and Walton.

Nah. He was far too entertaining as a player and as a nitwit to top the list, even with his high reprehensibility quotient.I was thinking Patterson might be #1
Bollocks. He brought us a ring and then his body fell apart because he wouldn't drink a glass of fucking milk once in a while. Stupid burnt-out hippie cost us a dynasty. Why is Walton hated? He brought us a ring and we fucked his career over.

Me, too. 6'4", closer to 300. Still drink it as often as I can. Not necessarily for the health benefits, more because it is delicious.I will say, I drank a shitton of milk growing up. IM 6'4, 240lbs. My father is 6'0 and 195. My mother is 5'6 and 160.
Id say milk did this body good anyhow.
Hippies don't drink milk. They drink herbal tea!!!! (just the wrong herb)

As for Big Red, his militant moral vegetarianism cost his team at least two or three more rings.
@SlyPokerDog - can you get me hooked up as a participant in this process? I'm a little nervous that Nike is going to eff this up.McGowan said:"I think it’s a modernization, I wouldn’t call it drastic," said McGowan of the proposed changes.
