You know, this might come up in the next few hours or days, but this is a pretty good vindication for General Petraeus. He pushed for the surges, he's literally written the book on counterinsurgency in Afghanistan (based on how he won the war in Iraq) and pushed for drone strikes and air strikes to continue in Afghanistan.

I know it may not mean much to the civilian populace, but I think it'd be great if the General got his 5th star for this. Winning in Iraq, changing the tide in Afghanistan, being basically demoted from CENTCOM to the lead in Afghanistan, and now presiding over the death of bin Laden...well done, sir.
