Nope, has to be liberals fault somehow.

To be fair, most of those people represent a very out of touch form of liberalism that many average people (even liberals) can’t stand. There are very few celebrities that command any respect or should be taken seriously. It’s not really a shot at normal people who lean liberal.

I'm not so sure about that.

Many of those "average" people have voted for more liberal candidates all but 1 president election since 1992

Your claim that liberals vote for liberals isn’t controversial, you won’t hear an argument from me about it. I’m not sure what that has to do with celebrities being dipshits though.

People still actually watch that shameless display of ego stroking and mutual masturbation??? All for a gilt plated doorstop?? The collective IQ of this country continues to plummet……..
How did you know what I do behind closed doors? And why is my eyesight fading?

Didn’t watch it but found it noteworthy and somewhat ironic that the LA city government broke up an existing homeless camp outside Union Station downtown LA solely so wealthy elites and celebrities could witness Best Picture be given to ... a movie about the struggles of homelessness?

That's really disgusting. It's all for show so they can give this illusion of compassion and empathy, but really these people don't actually care about anyone other than themselves. Is it any surprise that actors put on an act?

Ma Rainey's Black Bottom

Haven’t seen it, but Anthony Hopkins has been playing himself in roles for 15 years and I don’t consider it good acting. Boseman should have won just because of that IMO and yes, because he had an all-time iconic movie role in Black Panther that wasn’t recognized, either.

This was great.

seems like an Uncle Tom.

He's been called other things, as well....

https://www.cinemablend.com/televis...rumors-he-and-tyler-perry-are-gay-got-started

"I came out on a Tyler Perry show, and like for whatever reason, he gets a rap like that. I know Tyler [Perry] personally, and he’s not gay. I was seen around him, and all of a sudden, ‘he’s rubbing off on me,’ and people felt like I was gay or something like that. I was on the set of P-Valley, maybe I was with [character Uncle] Clifford, I think I was taking a picture with Alphonse, who plays Lil Murda, and people started off with the [rumor] again. I think if you have a space people can’t figure out, they just tag you with whatever, they create a judgment." ~Tyler Lepley

Every black person that doesn't have a victim mentality is an Uncle Tom, duh.

I have no real interest in the Academy Awards other than my wife wanted to watch because some Korean woman won for something or other. That's it, that's all we watched.
