Holy cow 5 minutes left in the 3rd?

My eyes are starting to get heavy from all the IPA’s I’ve nursed throughout the day

Supposedly big recruits on campus tonight which is why Lanning is selectively chewing ass

I fucking hate when we give up a late meaningless touchdown..we’re the Pac-12 we need style points, especially when it’s almost 3am on the east coast

Good for Filkins. Oregon kid.

long line of great Oregon talents that have thrived at Stanford. A neighborhood kid who was a few years older than me played there in the early 2000’s and then had a cup of coffee with the Cowboys as a tight end. Brett Pierce. I thought he should have kept after baseball. But that’s my story for the night.

Played against Pierce when he was at River and I was at MV ... BP is the only guy that kicked my ass just about any time I had to block him. We had a good line that year but he was on a different level. We had a freshman on our team that year (David Beall) that ended up playing at Stanford as well.

Have you forgotten the 4th quarter from last week already?

For real ... I know Nix is a polarizing figure but the week before he was on the money in that 4th quarter, even if your guy dropped the ball on 4th and 2 that the P12 conveniently didn't review!

Which play are you referring to? I re-watch every game a few times and I am not familar with that one.

It was the 4th and 2 in the 4th quarter, we were up 12 and I think it was Irving on a catch over the middle for about 20 yards. Fox never had a good replay but after the game someone posted it from the endzone camera and it showed him using the ground to catch it. No idea if it would have been overturned and in no way should be have given up that lead, but tough when plays like that aren't even reviewed but the 'int' earlier gets overturned.

I grew up by Pierce and a few of those River guys. That was back when River was the cream of the crop athletically in the GSHL.

I played neighborhood pickup basketball and whiffle ball games with him and he was a man among boys. Great at every sport. Seemed like big dummy but was actually like a 4.0 student throughout school.

Yeah, that was the biggest play of the game. Absolutely clutch by both Nix and Irving. Game over without it. I must admit when I first saw it live I was concerned. It was very close but they showed it several times and if they would have ruled it incomplete I would have been pissed. But I have not seen the angle you refer to.
