Thronny needs to see if he'll take the minimum.

This is the missing piece to the Nets puzzle.

Pour one out for A-Dawg.

adonyl foyle, if he is signed= the new jersey nets' starting center in '07-'08.

This guy offensively is worst than Collins. defensively, he will contest shots for you. Given our limitations up front if the O'Neal trade goes through, could be a good minimum value pickup....just like Posey would be too.

The Magic are interested in him. I don't know why they would want him...

Aside from Howard, Orlando is thin in the paiinted area. Battie, Garrity are the only big bodies they have, Lewis is a 3. Foyle would be a nice player to team with Howard.

I think Thorn was hinting at this when he mentioned not being able to replace K-Mart. Thoughts?

It looks like the Celtics or the Magic will sign him. He's working out with Clifford Ray and Robert Parrish, two Celtics coaches, in Florida

"Adonal Foyle scored 33 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and blocked 8 shots, as the Celtics beat the Nets 90-85 last night at the Meadowlands Arena."

They said he had no moves...

They laughed when they heard he had playmaking skills...

They said that he had no defense...

Adonal Foyle...The Return

That video was premium. Actually id like to see Adonal Teaching S.Will the fine art of contesting shots. That said though the odds of him coming to jersey are around the same as Petey being in the Paris Hilton sex tape...

Ill leave it up to you whether you rate Petey's chances or not. I say its 50-50

Foyle is like Jason Collins, but without the defense. Or the offense.

Foyle is supreme to Collins. 2nd all time in blocked shots per game in NCAA history with over 5 BPG.

Look at that video, when could Collins ever do ANY of that stuff?

This isnt even news, foyle is an average center on his best day.

Ha! Funniest thing I've heard all day!

Adonal Foyle has a bad rep stemming from two things:

1: The fact the Warriors saw fit to pay him insane money. Compared to Foyle, the magic are getting good value from Lewis. Not his fault. If my job wanna pay me $40 an hour not my problem, but i'd be dumb to say no huh?

2: A player who was never meant to be more than a one dimensional player, being asked to fit a role his skill set and all round ability did not suit.

He has a game meant for a sluggish half court playoff team (i.e in detroit he would fit like a glove), only playing 20-28 min per game alongside an athletic rebounder. He chases the ball, he contests shots but nothing more. Is it his fault the Warriors were never a good fit? Sure he will never be a starter again but should he have been in the first place? He will find a role in this league and it will be for the only thing he does consistantly... alter shots. Don Nelson was probably the worst fit he could hope for but bring off the bench in the playoffs for a more 'traditional' style half court set team, playing the same zone that Detroit had with Wallace + Robinson in detroit circa 2002 and watch your view on him change.

Haha.

The "Contender" music rules.
