He’s breaking records and his team is doing so well that no one seems to notice. He’s 1/10 tonight so far vs Dallas tonight. He’s shooting the worst three point percentage of his career this season. He’s still awesome but he’s had a significant drop off. The beginning of a decline or will he surge when Klay returns?

He’s amazing. If his % is down it might be because he takes absolutely ridiculous shots. Easier shots come with Klay.

SIGH
Step it up MODS! Merge all these crap threads!

Do you go to sleep at night believing you are making the planet a better place with your basketball takes?

Another off night tonight. 4/11 FGs, 12 points, game worst -25

Honestly, Curry shouldn’t make 1st team all nba. Should be Ja and Demar.

Another awful game by Curry. 1/13 from 3 tonight. Even though they won, he was a -5. The only negative in the starting lineup. Crazy.

I'd like to bag on Curry but he kind of has earned the benefit of having a bad season every now and then.

I might be wrong but it seems the poster who kept claiming Curry never had slumps is also the poster that said Dame didn't have an abdomen injury, it was just an excuse

IDK?
He's still shooting 38% from three on a higher volume. His career is a blistering 42%
His PPG are still at 26. career number is 24
Overall shooting percentage is down a bit to 41% but that might be due to him taking a higher volume of three's and less two's?
He's still playing 34 mins a game. Most #1 options are playing 36-38.
His rebounds look good at 5.3 and his overall assist number are very good at 6.2

Bottom line. I'd love to have him on the Blazers.

It’s the worst year of his career.

No it isn't. Go look. Fact.
Fact: This is the worst three point percentage of his career and it's rapidly falling. Unless you count the season he played 5 games. Curry has never shot this badly. He's never been this bad. Fact.

I addressed that. He is being asked to shoot more three's. Less two's. I personally think that has quite a bit to do with it. I could be wrong. Curry is 33 now and probably is in decline.
You are. Fact.

His BPM is right about his career average so not much of a drop off overall. Curry peaked at around age 27 and is in slow decline but at age 33 that will likely accelerate soon enough.

Don't get me wrong. He is a big reason they have been the surprise team this year. But his shooting is way down by his standards and no one is really talking about outside of this thread. Maybe Wiggins should make the All Star team this year.

His shooting % is way down but same with Harden, Doncic, Beal, Tatum, and Dame to name some. Seems to me that the reffing has fundamentally and significantly hurt certain players. By taking away foul calls on drives they’ve made it beneficial for defenses to play tighter on these guys maybe.

Good point. I wonder if the new ball has something to do with it too.

Also his worst TS% (which factors in the added value of additional 3's) since his rookie year.

Exactly. That's why his PPG hasn't fallen off much. He's shooting more three's. That is why his FG% has dropped. They (Kerr) are keeping him from punishing his body and asking him to shoot from outside more. They are also keeping his total minutes down.

That’s why he shot 1/13 the other night? And his ppg absolutely has fallen off. A full 6 points from last year. That’s because he’s shooting more? Huh?

Alright dude. Curry sucks now.
No need to respond to you any longer.

Curry 2/10 from 3 tonight. His teammates keep bailing him out.

Just saw a tweet that said of Curry’s 6 worst shooting performances of his career, 5 of them have been this season. What a collapse.
