Look here is how it happened. Basel became a CM. If you like it or not one of his duties was to get activity in all forums.

The reason Basel was so active with you guys when all the crap happened is because that SA1177 (or whatever that mods name is) was on vacation. Sa1177 asked Basel to watch over the Blazers forum while he was away.

A Blazers mod/fan asked him to be there! That is the fact.

The Blazers OT section was doing reasonably well before he inserted himself, so maybe he did, in essence, ask for it.

I know that some of us tried to have reasonable communications with Basel after he closed any and all communications on the open forum over it, but instead of anything constructive being offered, we were ignored and/or mocked. Told that the site would be fine without us, that there was nothing special about our community, etc.

The administration of that site placed trust in the hands of the CMs there and the greenies totally fucked them by not only being nonresponsive but actively hostile.

DaRizzle, you need to get over the fact Kobe is a rapist. We Blazer fans accepted Ruben was. We accepted that Zach slipped that girl GHB. We accepted that Damon had a haybale of weed in his crawlspace. We accepted the truth and it made it easy for us to trade them.
