Hahaha... wow, Bogut got punked by Blake there. Nice job Blakey.

And love the music that went with the video. WTH was that..

I'm guessing those two reminisce about the good 'ole days of a month ago on every flight, or night.

I was going to post--

You mean Blake and Bogut? They played together in 33 games in 2006-07, Bogut's 2nd season. Blake started in 2 games and Bogut started in all. Then the Bucks traded Blake to the Nuggets (who 3 weeks earlier had traded Andre Miller for Iverson).

But then I saw

Weren't Blake and Bogut teammates for at least part of a season, or was that the year before Bogut got drafted?

So I better not post to this thread. It would be redundant.

If we can't find a way to trade for one of the Minnesota PG's or Collison or (my fantasty) Chris Paul, getting Blake back isn't a bad fallback plan.

Truth is that we don't have as many tradeable assets anymore. Rudy and Bayless have lost some of their luster. Przybilla may be done. We've got a really nice starting five, but not many spare parts other teams would really want beyond maybe Przybilla's expiring deal, a bunch of foreign players, and Dante Cunningham.

Signing Blake may be the only major roster change this summer. (I'm crossing my fingers on getting Camby back, but there are going to be a lot of bidders for his services.) Not exactly mind-blowing, but a much better value than Turkoglu for the money we'll spend.

Bogut didn't want any part of Blake since he knew Blake would kick his ass. Blake's an MMA fan who trained a lot with Nate Quarry in the offseason.

What a joke...it was a hard screen that is it, those kind of screens happen in every game....then Blake threw his elbow out which prompted Bogut to turn around and then words were said......

Way to make a mountain out of a molehill....

That was great!
Maybe they remember all battles with Joel and Bogut and still dont like that punk ass Aussie.

Nice avatar Blaze01! repped!

The most impressive thing about the video is the way that they rotate. Outlaw comes over to pick up Bogut and Blake rotates to Jennings right away. Where was that kind of quality pick and roll defense when they were here?

Actually it was Ilyasova who was pushed to the ground it appeared to me.

And people were wanting to bring that guy to Portland? Man, if you're a power forward and you can't outwork Steve Blake for a loose ball...

Didn't you watch the games when they were here? They always switched on the pick-n-roll. It pissed me off!

Best thing about the video?

They weren't in Blazers uniforms.
Seemed like good guys when they were here, but i'm so glad we don't have to watch them excel at mediocrity anymore.

No doubt. Sometimes I watch our team play and I imagine Outlaw and Blake in there. Blake still starting, Outlaw still coming off the bench. Yuck.

by design ... Nate runs the same defensive scheme that he played in during his year's in Seattle under Karl, when they could run Nate, X-man, Schrempf and Kemp -- all players with a lot of length and capable of covering multiple positions -- and switching worked.

EDIT: my bad, it was pointed out to me that X-man and Detlef never played together (memory and old age is a bitch) but the point is still kind of the same, the Seahawks switched on everything because of the kind of personnel they employed.
