Only because I don't think Stotts is good enough. Shaw probably isn't either, but we don't know that. I don't actively want Shaw, but I'd take the unknown over the known on the off chance that you get something good.
Pretty much how I felt about Nate - it was painfully obvious that he wasn't very good, so it's worth the risk of getting another dud if there's also a chance that he'll turn out to be better/good. I think we got better with Stotts, but he still doesn't appear to be a coach that's going to do great things with a team.
