OT: Brian T. Smith - 'The Bachelor'

Anyone else think it's kinda weird that The Columbian's Brian T. Smith has been chosen as 'The Bachelor' on Canzano's game show of the same name?

Apparently, 5 dates in 5 nights for the guy and he chooses his "winner" at the end. I think they even get to go on some super date.

Aren't Canzano and Smith actually journalistic rivals?

Nah, Smith is actually a very good read -- easily my favorite reporter covering the team (I loved Hendrickson too btw).

Nah, Smith is actually a very good read -- easily my favorite reporter covering the team (I loved Hendrickson too btw).

I like the Columbian coverage of the team period. Where the Oregonian seems to be slanted by how the reporter/columnists get along with players or just trying to be controversial to sell papers, the Columbian seems to bring up issues with far less "The sky is falling!".
