The Milwaukee Bucks are putting their hometown at the center of home court, with a giant M flanking each side of the midcourt line on a newly unveiled, art-inspired floor.

The Bucks unveiled the design for their new floor Tuesday evening at the Milwaukee Art Museum. It is inspired by Pop artist Robert Indiana's much-beloved 1977 MECCA floor.

The M is pretty cool. Very creative.

The buck in the middle? Kind of lame isn't it?

If I ran the marketing for that team I'd rebrand the design with a focus on just the antlers--pretty much the only thing that's really aggressive or interesting about a deer. You could make a very interesting logo with 5 tines from each side facing each other (symbolizing the 5 players on a team).

I wish we would redesign ours a bit. That font on our baselines is harsh. Bring back the white paint area!
