Wow... listen to him scream. Gerald Wallace gets karma revenge! After watching that i would be surprised if he plays again this year. I smell a torn ACL.

Sasha looks like he's about to cry.

Kobe looks shocked.

I would just like to say anybody happy about this can go to hell

hate the Lakers all you want...dont be happy about injuries

I'm not happy about it. Sucks to see him go down, but if Kobe wasn't flopping horribly trying to draw a foul he would not have fallen down.

Yeah sorry Riz, but this:

Destroyed any and all sympathy I could ever have for the Lakers.

I gotta go with DaRizzle on this one...

While I'd love Bynum to go 0-life against Oden, and see the L*kers cry after we beat them soundly every time we play, you don't gloat when some dude's screaming like that.

If tomorrow it turns out he just had a charley horse? Fine, call him a pu$$y or something. But to laugh at a man screaming in pain like that, or the guys who live with him 8 months out of the year looking on in shock at their friend/teammate screaming like that...bad form, dude.

Get better soon, Drew, so the L*kers have no excuses the next time we crush them.

Pretty much. I feel bad Bynum, but I couldn't care less about that team suffering as a result of any prolonged injury to him.

I just hope our teams can face each other at full strength eventually.

He didn't land funny or anything like that. It really didn't look serious at all.

He was screaming though. Kinda like how Gerald Wallace was. He should be all right though. A sprained knee isn't serious.

Yeah... like Gerald Wallace..... with a broken rib and a collapsed lung.... not serious at all :dunno:

Dang, watching that video (of Bynum) has a gut wrenching numbness to it.

That looked terrible, actually. Kobe's head drove the knee in the wrong direction, against the joint, and Kobe fell on Bynum's foot, planting the leg so the knee took all the shock.

That could easily be a torn ligament. Wow, what awful luck for Bynum.

It looked like Brady's injury sort of. Who knows though.

I don't see how anyone could say that doesn't look serious.... guys don't scream in pain like that for no reason. I would be shocked if it isn't a serious tear. Bad luck for Bynum. I hope he gets well.

That was such a freak accident. Kobe hit his knee with such force.

x rays negative...which doesnt mean much

It looked bad period.
FYI Redd walked off the court after tearing TWO ligaments in his knee

Yeah, a broken bone would have probably been a non-disastrous result. It's the results of a scope to examine the interior that will matter.

reactions after the incident are not great indications of severity of the injury. oden SUDDENLY required a microfracture surgery without anybody knowing why. he probably just overreacted. i pray bynum gets back up healthy soon.

Sorry DaRizzle. As much as I dislike the L@kers, I always liked Bynum and really hope this is just a short term injury. Best wishes for his recovery.

Either way, you guys will still be a contender this year, and Oden and Bynum will be battling in the paint for many, many years.

This sucks. If the Lakers succeed or fail, I want them to do it with a full squad. That said, even if Bynum is out for the season, they already know that they can get all the way to the Finals and win two games without him.

I just dont want to lose in the finals against the C's.....ANYTHING but that. First round exit is better if I KNEW the alternative was losing to the C's in the finals
