OT: Cavs get Jamison & Telfair / Big Z, Thornton and Skinner to Wash. / Gooden to LAC

The Cavaliers have acquired Antawn Jamison from Washington, according to the Washington Post.

The deal is possibly a three-way with Drew Gooden being sent to a Western Conference team.

The Wizards will receive Zydrunas Ilgauskas and a 1st round pick, according to the source.

So essentially, it was the 30th pick for Jamison.

Anyone who could turn Telfair and a homeless man's Travis Outlaw into Drew Gooden gets high marks in my book.


So Washington get's Al Thornton, Brian Skinner's beard and the worst pick in the draft for their best player? Don't they realize that even if they lose every single game from now until the end of the season they will still have a better record then the Nets?

Why didn't we just give them a package of a used towel, some Gatorade and Patty Mills for Jamison?

Because the salaries did not match. They wanted to cut salary - they do it with Z's big expiring.

If only Arenas started shooting guns in locker rooms last year - maybe we, too, could have feasted like that.

On the other hand McMillan left him off the Team USA roster, and that's why will drop 50 on us and why he waited to go John Wayne style to this year. See, it's all Nate's fault!

There were non. People were not trying to clear space for the summer of 2010 last year as they do now - and the Wizards did not go into "blow it all up" mode last year. Bad timing with RLEC, unfortunately.

The Clippers will be under the cap far enough to make a max offer to one of the free agents this summer which is what they were shooting for.

Either that or Stirling has more upcoming racism lawsuits and needs cash to settle them out of court.
