I don't know what I'd do if the Lakers got Chandler on the cheap like they did with Gasol.

edit: oops, I forgot the (?) in the title, jsut a rumor I heard.

I know what you'd be doing--You'd watch them play in the NBA Finals.

I guess it would be Odom for Chandler.

In some ways, I hope they do.

Show our GM yet again how a trade mid season can help.

He just failed a physical, so how can he pass the next one in the span of a day or two?

One team's standards for passing a physical may be different than another's.

There was one trade though. Rashad McCants to the Kings for Shelden Williams

SACRAMENTO, CA - The Kings obviously weren't finished tweaking their roster after Wednesday's big trade sending Brad Miller and John Salmons to Chicago in a three-team, five-player trade. Sacramento is moving point guard Bobby Brown and forward Shelden Williams to the Minnesota Timberwolves for backcourt guard Rashad McCants and center Calvin Booth, the Sacramento Bee reports. The trade is pending league approval.

I can't imagine the Lakers trading Odom for Chandler. Tyson would be a terrible fit in the Triangle offense.

looking at his salary I really doubt it. Lakers need to resign Ariza, Kobe, and possibly Odom

i doubt the lakers give would give them odom. oklahoma city just gave them nothing, so why would the lakers actually trade them something with value?

Would love seeing it. He played like crap this year and Odom was big for them in the last month. Do it - it would really give us a much better chance at them come playoffs time. Do it. Do it.

One team may be willing to "live with" the time it would take to heal an injury that another team may not.

According to ESPN: Chandler didn't fail the exam over the ankle injury. The deal was rejected after the Dr who operated on his big toe told OKC that the toe *could* become a chronic problem.

My guess? Presti made a good money-for-talent trade, and his tightwad bosses pitched a fit. All this toe nonsense is just an excuse for buyer's remorse. :dunno:

There is no way IF this was true that it would be for Odom....makes no sense at all

What other large expiring contracts do the L*kers have? That's what NO wants, and that's why I assumed it was for Odom.

It's for Bynum. The Lakers said "turf toe is nothing! At least Chandler doesn't go down EVERY SEASON."
