According to ESPN: Chandler didn't fail the exam over the ankle injury. The deal was rejected after the Dr who operated on his big toe told OKC that the toe *could* become a chronic problem.

My guess? Presti made a good money-for-talent trade, and his tightwad bosses pitched a fit. All this toe nonsense is just an excuse for buyer's remorse.
