ESPN sources: Clippers and NBA-owned Hornets have agreed to Chris Paul deal in principle. Gordon, Kaman, Aminu and Minnesota pick to Hornets

Cool. It's kind of nice seeing the Clippers actually make a move to get better.

fuck that is alot to give up, good for the hornets

As I mentioned in another thread I go to quite a few Clipper games. Gordon will be a huge loss. If this goes through the Hornets certainly got value.

I think it's a great move for the Clips IF............... he doesn't bounce next summer. Sterling will never give him a max deal!

See - David Stern is a GREAT GM! THAT'S how you punk the other team.

So do they start Chauncy AND CP3? They will be tough this year!

Right now Kobe just told the entire Laker staff to go fuck themselves! HAHAHA!

Great move by both sides IMO, especially if Paul holds up. He doesn't have degenerative knees like Roy, so his condition is not as severe.

Lakersground.net think their offer was far better. Of course they would. Three old guys + mediocre prospects/picks doesn't even come close to Gordon/MN pick.

Mo williams could be available. But I still want to see Smith get the minutes.

Cool

I think CP3 will look good in a clippers jersey, can't say their team will be any good though without Kaman their only 7 footer.

fuck, the tickets I was eyeing on stubhub for the 1/1 game went from $111 to $199 within the hour. :MARIS61:

Still shocked that the Hornets got that much out of Paul. He and Griffin are going to be very fun to watch.

The bandwagon hopping in LA is going to be rampant.

Over-the-hill Kobe and Pau or Prime CP3/Blake?

Now my boy Coach Monty can get down to business!

The first Laker/Clipper game is gonna be DOPE!

this is for all you people that said "that's the best deal they could get, nothing will ever come up that's better".

I think it's only one knee.

Yes and I believe CP3 only had a partial removal, like Roy had back at UW, so Paul has at least a few years before that knee gets worse. It could be only 2 years until it really acts up for him but it could be 15 years and not effect his playing career much at all.

Yes an undersized PG in Paul and an undersized PF in Griffin.... They may be able to get up and down the court but their defense will be laughable....

Of note is that no one from the Clippers has been amnestied, so they could use it on Mo Williams and the biggest contract would be that of an extended Paul. They have few assets left, but could make a run at Howard.
