No, no, no... They are reaching out to Isiah Thompson.

Doesn't the Isiah Thomas "collect grossly gigantic contracts" philosophy contradict everything the Clippers stand for?

Maybe Donald Sterling thinks Isiah is still the Knicks GM and is "reaching out" to him in hope of unloading some ridiculous contracts.

Brilliant move by the Clipper organization.

Coach....maybe he could have success

GM....not in a million years

Damn you KP! Isiah would have been the perfect coach to lead us back to the lottery.

if this is true, its the perfect direction for the franchise (again).

I would love to see his resume.

Killed the CBA.
Sexual harrassment
Threw family members under bus after suicide attempt
Set the Knicks back almost a full decade
Universally hated by the original dream team

I did not think the Clippers could sink any lower, but their darkest days will happen if they bring him in.

Wow, somebody needs to file for power of attorney over Sterling's financial assets ASAP. A diminished capacity ruling is guaranteed.

No doubt! Damn you KPEE! We could have had a shot at John Wall!

Wait a minute...Sterling is crazy all right...Crazy like a fox. Last year he drafted Blake Griffin; this year he'll get John Wall. Hard to do better than that.

KPee gets aced out again!!

And what kind of name is 'Isiah' anyway. I can never spell it. Shouldn't it be 'Izayah' or something. :dunno:

The traditional spelling is Isaiah. Evidently, Isiah's mom preferred a more economical usage of vowels.

That's what makes the Clippers the perfect organization for him.

"I want to sign these players to huge deals."
"No."
<disastrous signings averted>

If that's the case, we need to make an offer for Eric Gordon and Al Thornton as soon as he takes office.

KP: Isiah, I'll trade you Steve Blake, Travis Outlaw, AND Patty Mills for Eric Gordon and Al Thornton.

Isiah: Hold on... I need to look at my "GM for Dummies" book............... It's a deal!

Couldn't even afford to buy a vowel? That's a heartwarming success story. I hope he bought her a nice house.

I agree with the speculation I heard earlier that it might be Isiah himself that's stirring up these rumors... He is a man with incredible self-confidence.

As a player, he was very religious. He's in some conservative religion. I don't know which one, it was Christian, but not one of the more pacifistic loving ones. Some teammates didn't like how he pushed religion onto them.

Not necessarily. You remember that thing called the lottery?

Just the opposite.

Donald "Midas" Sterling, who cares nothing about sports, is merely following the same formula that has made his "team" one of the most financially stable and lucrative investments in his portfolio.

His method of competitive insanity has assured him a nearly constant supply of free national advertising and fan optimism by starting each and nearly every season with a highly-touted lottery pick who also brings in a refresher group of fans to the team. If his team seems on the verge of being good, he simply trades away talent or switches coaches.

Unfortunately, KP has publicly stated he admires Sterling's financial approach and is attempting to emulate him.
