I missed the start of the Blazer game but I did catch Aaron Brooks hitting two big threes down the stretch, one with 24 seconds left on a pick a pop to beat Dallas. One of the most exciting basketball players out of Oregon it's good to see him coming up big in lue of the Raefer Alston trade. Good for him, maybe not so good for the rest of the Western Conference who penciled out the Rockets.

Brooks: 19 pts, 6 rebs, 8 asst

He'd better play well. He has soon-to-be All Star Kyle Lowry behind him now. :ohno:

I can't remember how many draft picks we had a chance to pick him up, but we didn't. I seem to remember 3.

We had two, Greg and Rudy. Koponen was next, but Brooks was already gone.

I love AB. I went to U of O when he did so I watched him for four years from the pit crew. In a strange way it feels really good to see him succeed in the NBA considering his junior year people would have laughed if you said he was a 1st round pick.
