Fuck that. Keep that moron away from our young players. LMA did nothing to keep the knuckleheads in line we had on the team last year.

Fair enough, but I have this instinct to take in strays.

And, more often than not, the crazies play best for us: JR Rider, Gary Trent, Ruben Patterson... they all played their best ball here.

Now, sanity and social concern are a different matter.

Honestly, I'd talk to Wes Matthews, LMA, Jared Jeffries. "If we signed Delonte, would you guys be able to keep him in check?" If they unanimously agree, I'd sign him. He definitely makes our bench MUCH stronger. I'd then approach Delonte and say, "Look, if any of these 3 guys feel you are hurting our team, you will immediately be cut. Got it?" If he agrees, toss him a contract.

I'd add one more condition... No fucking any of your teammates' moms. That area where the players' families sit is not the MILF section or a Cougar Club.
