I've thought for a while that Cousins was Derrick Coleman II: ridiculous talent, sorry attitude. And it might be that, like Coleman, who was actually a smart, thoughtful guy, he won't respect coaches that just give him shit.
BUT: whatever Westphal (for whom I have even less respect than Cousins) thinks, Petrie is not going to trade Cousins any time soon. (And remember: Joakim Noah was fined by his team in his rookie year, and the players voted to INCREASE the fine! And yet Chicago didn't turn around and dump him, and are glad they didn't.)
If we're after talented headcases that are in trouble with their teams, I'm much more interested in Terrence Williams. And there's a double Blazer-connection: he grew up living opposite Brandon Roy, and he trained with Nate's ex-teammate Gary Payton before the draft. I see T-Will as the nearest thing to a young Ron Artest, with all the good and bad that entails.
