Ric Bucher was on KNBR (bay area radio) this morning and said he was hearing rumblings of Pau, Artest and a 1st to GSW for Curry, Wright, Andris and Lee.

They want a C and old man Gasol really should be playing there most of the time anyway. He'd be a top 5 C in the league still.

But given that, at this point, Pau is descending and David Lee is in his prime having arguably the best season of his career and GS is taking back Metta why would they also include Curry? I don't think Pau is a Steph Curry better than David Lee, especially considering Pau is 31 and Lee is 28.

Not true, as of yet. And if anything, it would be for Monta, I believe.

I don't know how accurate the GS rumors are. Everything else is linking Gasol to Houston and Minny.

i semi like this for golden state, although taking artests deal kills it...he might retire? if so this lops alot of dead weight off their salary situation

Lee was a mistake: he's an empty numbers kind of guy. If they trade him, they're selling high (while clean and sober). If they traded Curry it would be because his ankles are like Roy's knees.

But it would be an odd trade. GSW would be better right now, but probably not enough to make the playoffs.

Also if Artest opts out (I don't know why he would) or they buy him out they'll have max salary space.
