After that great start they are playing lousy ball, got hammered by Philly today, as a team for the whole game they had FOUR, yes that is just four assists! CP had 3. Welcome to the up and downs of NBA head coaching Monty.

Of note Darren Collison is doing just "okay" as a starter for Indy, avg only 4.2. per game. Was he over hyped?

***3 assists for a regular season game is the record for fewest, 4 teams gave done it, last time was way back in 1976

Tough for Monty, but damn do I hope the Hornets take a nose dive and make that draft pick look they owe us worthwhile.

4 total assists!?

Did Philadelphia play insane defense? I think this is going to be a long season for the lower dwellers, (the non LA, San Antonio and Dallas teams).

Monty Williams used to be a genius, but now he's all washed up. It happens to everyone eventually.

I knew they'd come back to earth. They won't win more than 35 games.

Chris Paul had a decent game. The Hornets are indeed skittering now though.

Monty brought something new to the team, and now they've been scouted. Change and adapt. React to the adaptation. It's how coaching goes.

I think the trade they made getting rid of Bayless is what did them in. They messed with the chemistry.

i hate threads like this....

considering we are the 8th seed hanging on for dear life..... we have much more to worry out then the hornets right now.

Let's see. The NO Hornets were on the brink of BK until the league came in and bailed them out. Their star player grumbled this summer and was hoping to be traded. They are 3-7 in thier last 10 games including a total of 4 assists in their last game . . . and they traded away their #1 pick.

Nope I would say the Blazers do not have much more to worry about than the Hornets

i will give it a shot...

roy is a shell of his former self with a 80 million dollar deal

our best player is 34 and likely to be traded with johson and mills as our only options

our gm is clueless

our owner has suits running the franchise

nate is in last year of deal

batum has regressed to bench

la is a 3rd option

oden has had 2 micros and likely wont be back

both centers are 30+

OK do any of those factors override the fact that the NO is bankrupt and literally needs to be bailed out by the NBA. All the current talk is which city are the Hornets going to.

Is anything the Blazers are facing worse than the eventual relocation of the NO team . . . I doubt there is any NBA fan who is hurting as much as the NO fans.

Blazers have some issues, but those issue are nothing in comparison to NO's problems.
