We traded his draft rights to Houston for TRob.

Despite physical talent, if Robinson's BBIQ doesn't improve, the Greek may become better, once he learns the league.

Then, he may not. Just saying it's not yet a sure thing that we won that trade.

Given that they gave their bench away to clear cap space for Bosh, they are just looking for a body with a pulse to fill a roster spot. Will the Greek be any good? Hard to say, but he may get PT just because their roster is so decimated. I bet Daryl Morey wishes he had TRob back right now (and probably Asik and Lin, too).

BNM

close to 5 a year for 2 years.

I watched a few games with Kostas playing in Greece and he was a total player. Did everything pretty well on both sides of the court. Houston was smart to sign him

Houston officially becomes Rasta's pick to win it all.

I'm a big fan of his game. He plays both ends and IMO will translate well in the NBA. The Euro Shane Battier.

Fuck Houston.

Papanikolaou is a better player than TRob. He's just better at basketball. No doubt TRob is a finer physical specimen, though.

He is going to have a tough first year in the NBA. Hardly any pros come from overseas and adjust to be NBA quickly, usually takes at least a year or two like most rookies.

We'll see. He's played for the top two clubs in Europe. And he'll be playing bench players, because the Rockets signed Ariza to start. They'll probably miss Lin more than they'll miss Parsons.

WHatever! The HCP would average 20pts/12rebs in Greece! #Malakas

Don't remind me. Just don't.

I'd rather have TRob. TRob has shown he can play in the NBA and be a rotation player. Papanikolaou hasn't played an NBA game yet so we will see if he ends up being better then TRob but i'v got my doubts he will be a starter caliber player, which if he isnt' puts him in the same tier of players as TRob. I always undervalue Euros who haven't come over yet though.

I prefer to think of it as, we got the Knicks to take Felton for the Greek that got TRob
