He's one of the top scorers in the game, averaging 28 ppg and 11 ppg. Has he made some otherworldly leap into an open and shut case for MIP and probably All Star? I mean what the fuck?

Meh, he's done that kind of stuff before. He sucks on D. That's been his problem. LOTS of people in here were clamoring for him before we got Nurk.

But what if Vuc is a good player in a bad system. Nurk was a good player in a bad system. I'd like to see Vuc go somewhere else than waste his career in Orlando.

For what it's worth, he's averaging 1 steal and 1.7 blocks and Orlando might be good this year, yes? They crushed Cleveland in Cleveland and have the same record as us. And if you're averaging 28/11, exactly how bad is the system?

Vucevic is a great PF/C. I would love have him for our backup unit

I noticed that. One big change: last year he shot 1 3-pointer per game. This year he's shot 14 in 3 (and made 7).

Apparently, King has a man crush on the Vucevic.

He is a good player he was lacking on the defense in the past but I haven't seen him this year yet.

It seems to me that all the shitty teams have worked out "hey, if we play at a totally ridiculous pace, it's actually a lot easier to score". I imagine the more decent teams will catch up to this plan soon and the Pacers/Nets/Magics of this world will stop winning. Meanwhile we're seeing scores in the 130s +

Nurk's had a case of the spasstics for most of the season now. Does being 35# lighter make him think he can't hold his ground and take an extra half-second to shoot?

Orlando now has sole possession of the East at 4-1 including blowout wins over Cavs and Spurs. Who saw this coming? Are the Magic for real?

"For real" could mean so many different things..

They are a team made of corporeal beings. So yeah, they are real.

I doubt they will even make playoffs. They have started well but 82 games is different from 5 games.

Actually the East is so weak they that even they could be in the mix but I would still have 8-9 teams ahead of them comfortably.

Fourier and Vucevic are good experienced players. Gordon is in his contract year and trying to impress. Isaac is a talent, Payton is meh, Hezonja is a bust and Biyombo is about useless.

You may be right, but comfortably? Keep in mind Orlando destroyed Cleveland and San Antonio. But yes, it is early. Only 5 games.
