Marc Spears tweets:
Cleveland trades Delonte West and Sebastian Telfair to Minnesota for Ramon Sessions, Ryan Hollins and a draft pick, a source told Y! Sports.

Micheal Beasley and Delonte West as teammates, Bassy back to the Wolves, yet another point guard for the Wolves.

I love this guy.

We will now find if LeBron's mom is the real deal and can handle the cold, or if LeBron's mom's son got his genes from her.

Yep that is the solution to all their problems. It's really too bad that Minnesota doesn't have any talent. Kahn is exactly the type of GM I love to have in charge of a team when trying to steal good players from that team.

Rofl....I don't even have the words....

Don't worry guys, Kahn knows what he's doing. Minnesota is set, Darko is the next Vlade Divac.

Nice to meet you, Mr. O'Conner. Now, tell me, did you really not make any offers for Weslet Matthews?

Actually I think he called him "manna from heaven" ... which I'm guessing is something like a glass full of brackish water when you are dying of thirst in the desert.

With all the accumulation of PGs and small-guards, Marty might be Beaslet's backup PF when all is said and done. If only Don Nelson was available to coach that team.

He might be available soon. If I was the new owner of GS the first thing I would do is shitcan that guy.

I'm a fan of this guy's work. Outsider art.

It gets even better:

Wolves could waive Delonte West, only guaranteed $500,000, to further get under the salary cap, and trade Telfair, source tells Y! Sports

So they trade Sessions for the right to give away their draft pick, take on 500K of guaranteed salary, might trade Bassy (again) and are left with what exactly? Wouldn't it have been simpler to trade Sessions directly into Cleveland's cap space and take the 4 million dollar trade exception and call it a day?

Hollins is owed almost $5m over the next two years. If the team was going to waive him, anyway, they might as well get rid of him in a trade. Sessions is owed over $12m the next three years. That seemed like a bargain last year, but... maybe Kahn doesn't think it is now.

I think this is a trade full of guys that MN doesn't want and they just maneuvered to get rid of salary.

You need to think outside the box Nik and into the paper bag...filled with various aerosol form solvents.

This guy is in a league of his own...soon to be literally once the NBA ejects the T-Wolves from competition in a sort of Franchise mercy killing.

David Kahn is making sure there's no distraction from the Vikings this winter.

Funny thing is, both of them were signed by him, last year. I guess he doesn't think so highly of them anymore.

PG: Rubio / Ridnour / Flynn / Telfair
SG: Ellington / West
SF: Johnson / Webster / Brewer
PF: Love / Beasley
C: Milicic / Koufos

I'd be scared to death if Kahn was our GM. His roster is a serious cluster fuck of confusion.

The only thing worse than making a bad signing is not being willing to get out from under a bad signing, right? :)

Actually, I think the front line has a chance to be decent. Darko & Love are probably the best passing pair of big men in the league; Koufos is serviceable, and is there a more talented backup 4 than Beasley? Add in 3 top 10 picks at the small forward spot with different skill sets, and they're actually pretty versatile up front. If they can find 3 guards who can play, they might win 35 games.

Hollinger weighs in:

If they waive West, T'wolves just traded last year's two free agent signings for a No. 3 point guard. Remind me again what the plan is here?

On a related note, my offseason losers column runs tomorrow. Already filed before this trade. Let's just say I won't need to add any teams.

Kahn now has 3 PGs on his roster, with a rookie at a 13 PER, and back-up of a 17.7 PER, and Telfair (yucky PER).

Flynn is apparently having hip surgery and will be out 3-4 months, looks like Ridnour is going to be their starter.

I think Kahn is doing just fine. With a team like that you just need to stockpile assets, be creative, take chances, throw shit against the wall, see what sticks, and work to make it work down the road. That's what he id doing.

They don't have a single player on that team who can command a double team ... and the one Kahn had, he traded away to the Jazz for a bag of chips.
