Kahn should have been fired. Still that organization is a joke. You don't hire Saunders to replace the guy. It is going to be a wash.

Interesting--for some reason, I always only associated Kevin McHale with the Joe Smith scandal, and didn't realize/recall that Saunders was both GM and head coach until 2000. Seems to me that they would want to go a different direction...

That's an interesting Kahnspiracy theory. It seems more plausible than an NBA GM Kahnstantly fucking up the way he did out of shear ineptitude.

It was the owner who personally made the illegal verbal contract with Joe Smith, not the GM.

Kahn's Kahnning is going to take a lot of fun out of the off season, and could very likely strengthen a "rival". Bummer.

I hate it when a really stupid GM from another team gets fired. It makes it harder for Olshey to do his job.
