Most definitely is going to shake things up a little bit but the Thunder are still a very good team and they will still be a factor this year. This is the same injury CJ had so we all know he can get back to top form sometime in January.

Shouldn't be a problem, Westbrook already thinks he's the best player on the team. Now is his chance to prove it to everyone.

When the reigning MVP goes down with injury I think he deserves his own thread. Especially when he's in our division.

Ok I will be conscious of that in the future. Actually I did think that right after I posted it. Sorry i'll work on that.
This does seem to have some impact but you are right. Maybe changing the title to something like Injuries around the NBA would be better?

This is what I want to see. Westbrook's ego is certainly big enough lets see if he can really carry a team.

Westbrook is a great player but he can't carry the load the way KD did when Westbrook was down. No chance No way!

I just don't see it happening. Westbrook is a PG. He will have monster games but in the end it will not equate to wins.

That's exactly what I expect to happen. He will have huge scoring games but the Thunder will be a .500 team with KD out.

Sure it does. And it should start with "OT:". I think that's what Riverman is saying, and he's right. He's not being snarky just trying to help some of the new posters with the local protocol.

I wonder if they will be going small to start the season against us with a lineup of: Westbrook, Jackson, Lamb, Ibaka and Adams or if Perry Jones gets the nod at small forward.

The "OT" forum where they talk about "ISIS", Linsay Lohan" "The ebola epidemic" and "Playoff baseball"? Sorry that's not where I would want something like this. But yes this could have been on some other persons thread. But I have not had much luck posting anything on anyone else's thread around here. At the time this seems pertinent. If the Blazers can get the lead in the Northwest division that will mean a huge lift in Playoff seeding.

It is the Blazers first game and they have time to prep for how the Thunder will play. Getting the first one in OKC would be a big boost indeed!

No, no. Not the OT forum. I never go there. Some posters prefer that non-Blazers NBA news that is possibly interesting to posters here be prefaced by OT. It's an informal protocol. That's all. Yours is definitely a worthwhile topic and does potentially affect the Blazers. Like I said it's all good.

No, they are saying you should put OT in the title of your thread. "OT - Kevin Durant down for 6-8 weeks" It's not about the Blazers but it's about basketball so you put it in the right place. Without the OT some people will read your thread title and think the Blazers just traded for an injured Durant, lol.

It's not that big of a deal.

There is no doubt some Blazer fan woke up this morning thinking it was 2007 and that our number 1 pick Kevin Durant was going to miss two months.
