He isn't talking about preseason games, he's talking about our predictions for the number of wins pre-season, as in before the season starts.
 
Westbrook will sink the ship! Book it! Alas, it's only for a short while; so OKC can get back into the mix. But possibly the losses they accumulate without Durant will be enough to allow us to win the division

Wow! it actually does say that? Sounds like I forgot how to speak the language really? How about this?
"Does this injury change YOUR pre-season win total PREDICTION, or playoff seeding?"
Yes this is to imply that we are giving our predictions for the entire season before the season starts.

hey it's all good. I just saw too many Kevin Love threads all summer here. I deleted my posts. welcome to the forum kj..glad to see new people who actually talk about basketball. always a good thing. I think Durant being out till allstar break gives us the division

I hope this really hurts OKC but I'm not sure if it will make the seeding way different.
 
The thought kj is that if everyone posted threads about OT then we would cease to be a blazer board and instead be an NBA general board. That is why we generally like to have an OT NBA thread which we post things like this in. It's not really that big of a deal, just don't want Lebron wiping his butt to overshadow our glorious blazer basketball.

The Thunder's injury luck has run out all at once. They've lost three players in quick succession, although of course Durant is the most important. I don't think it'll hurt them too much in the long run, though. I think it'll actually make Westbrook realize how much easier Durant makes the game for him.
 
Wow there's a lot of "f them" mentality here for blazers fans. I hate the thunder as much as everyone else, but I don't want to see their failure come on the back end of an injury to their star.

Injuries are part of the game. Hopefully our team takes advantage of his injury and start the season strong.

It'll be interesting seeing how the Thunder adapt to Westbrook as the #1 during Durant's absence.
 
Now opening night is lose-lose. Lose the game and we lost to Thunder without Durant. Win the game and it's meaningless because Durant missed.
 
Scott Brooks is going to get exposed when Durant misses half a season. See how he coaches without that option for a stretch
