Just thought maybe we should revisit this now that the Blazers are riding a 9 game win streak and the Thunder are 8.5 games back. It now sounds like there is a possibility that both Durant and Westbrook could return for Fridays game vs the New York Knickerbockers.
Have the Blazers built a big enough lead and or are they playing well enough at this point that it really doesn't matter?

There is a third way: Durant and Westbrook are rushed back, and get re-injured about a month from now. Think Webster's injury and re-injury.

Blazers need to keep takin' care of business and not think about the Thunder. We have a nice cushion in our division and it's time to set our sights on the #1 seed in the Western Conference!

They are trying to get Westbrook back by Friday. They are saying they want Durant back by mid December. I would feel much better if we are still winning and Thunder loses a few more games.

The Thunder are afraid, rushing these dudes back. They know the Blazers are shaping up to be a force in the division.
