in 3 years will Kevin Love's IP Address will be Not Minneapolis

How's Portland's salary cap levels looking in three years? I have to imagine Portland would be on his list of possible destinations, but did the U of Oregon students tarnish his feelings with Portland in general?

LMA and Love seem like they'd be an ideal pair, splitting 4/5 duties, but could Portland offer a max at that time?

Assuming Lillard pans out, Batum and LMA continue to grow, there could be a great opportunity to stick it to Minnesota once and for all.

Hahahaha did you read the comments from the fans? They are saying Love is a baby. That's actually funny man! I guess all fans are the same. They let emotions get involved with their better judgement. Tell you what Minny fans, you can have Batum and Matthews and we will take that crybaby off your hands.

Have you seen the comments about Neil? The only criticism they have left about our idiot GM is that he's an A-hole. They really don't seem to realize that this epic failure of an off season is entirely self inflicted.

I knew the part about fan bases being the same with emotions etc... but it is hilarious with the running their mouths and their invasion to show us weiners to explain that we love men. :)

Didn't that WHOLE THING start because we said Love was unhappy in Minnesota?

Fucking.

Hilarious.

It really jumped out at me when I saw a word that should definitely not be used in a Wolves Forum, or in this Forum for that matter:
Championship

They don't see this off season as a "epic failure."

Out:
Webster – .064 WS/48
AR – .099 WS/48
Wayne – .041 WS/48
Beasley – .022 WS/48
Miller – .060 WS/48
Darko – .003 WS/48

In:
Chase – .111 WS/48
Roy – .077 WS/48 (when he sucked all of 10-11, gotta think he’ll be better)
Stiemsma – .140 WS/48
Brewer (for argument’s sake) – .113 WS/48
Hill (for argument’s sake) – .120 WS/48
Shved – I’m penciling him in for 2.0 WS/48 :)

I’m not even a huge stats guy but replacing chumps with people who have been on successful NBA teams, seems a good way to build when you have a top 10 player in the league.

Love is a baby. A spoiled one at that.

Agree. He doesn't come out and say what the title says. But for someone who just signed a contract for that much money, how about a little more commitment to the organization.

The attitude of the NBA player these days is to go chase a title rather than try to bring one to the organization that puts the player on their back. Call me old fashion, but I miss the days that you associated players with organizations.

A stat beast who isn't a true franchise player and can't (or won't) play defense.
There's a modicum of truth here, but let's be honest, he is way more valuable than Z-Bo was when Z-Bo was in his prime.

z-bo in his prime netted us channing frye and james jones..so yes he is probably 100x more valuable

I can't remember a player like Love in the past 30 years of the NBA, truthfully. He's an incredible statistical player who, IMO, won't be nearly as effective when a team he is on gets a true winning franchise player. He's the ultimate garbage man/rebounding beast with a nice outside shot, and it's such a rare thing in the NBA, because I rarely if ever see the opposing team double-team him in the post.

Such an anomaly.

The fact that he's on a crappy team with a crappy GM is being thrown in his face a bit being surrounded by his Olympic teammates.

He did what he had to do. He knew he'd otherwise be in a situation where Minne would match. So he's getting paid. But he'll be a FA at an early age.
