Multiple sources are telling Newsday that LeBron James has decided to join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami. The new Big Three is here.

Knick and Bulls fans are indeed bumming.

...And Cleveland fans.

Well, the 2 rings were nice. Don't really like our chances to 3-peat

Wow... that's going to be crazy to watch next season. I'll be rooting against the Heat big time.

I'm just happy New York didn't land LeBron. Their media annoys me enough. They talk like as if Wilson Chandler and Tony Douglas are future superstars, can you imagine them with LeBron in town?

:shootme:

I don't think Cleveland fans are bummed. I think they wish they were like Sonic fans and could just have the team leave their consciousness.

It really is a new era in the NBA. The players have realized that they are the star attraction, not the teams. Thanks a lot, David Stern.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a revolt in the players union soon, either that or a collection of "superstars" will ditch their contracts with their teams and start a competing league.

And the fans will be the ones who lose.

Can Erik handle it?

if it's true...we are fucked...they are gonna dominate our window of championship hope

I hope it blows up in Miami's faces... I might even root for LA to beat them if they meet in the Finals next year.

Well on the plus side we won't have to blame lack of championships in Portland on injuries or anything. If this happens then you can pretty much pencil out the rest of the league for the Larry O'Brien trophy for at least the next five years.

Really? You think 3 stars can win it all?

Not really, I like our chances if Bynum can fucking stay healthy. This just disgusts me that LBJ needs 60% of the starting lineup for the east to beat the Lakers.

There's always the sweet blessing possibility of career-ending injuries. That gives me hope.

Oh, and I also expect the number of Heat fans on this board to greatly increase.

The Blazer's only chance at a ring was always if Oden could live up to his potential. That is still true. Bosh is better than LA. Wade is better than Roy. Lebron is better than everyone.

Oden at 95 percent of his potential can still get the team rings. It just seems like a pipe dream at this point and it probably is. Hope we are all wrong.

I don't see how any of this follows what's happened in the NBA this summer.

How can players ditch their contracts? They're contracts for a reason... you can't just "ditch" them.

Ed O.

here we go! CP3 now knows his only chance to win is here! He will force his way here! ;)

No fan base deserved this unholy trinity less -- well maybe "Memphis fans" (is that even a real phrase?)

Fan bases don't deserve anything. What they can hope for is a good owner who is willing to spend money.

Agreed - Miami is going to be incredibly weak inside - even Bosh is a poor interior defender. This is a team with outstanding top talent, but some glaring weaknesses that COULD be exploited.

btw, does anyone else think that Amar'''''''e is singing this song?

haha, well really, CP3 should look at his situation now and feel like there's no way in hell he'll win a championship in NOH. Time to renew the talks!

Naivety, thy name is Ed.

The could all "retire" en masse, then play for teams in another league that they create.

Dont worry fans.. if you hate watching the NBA come on over and support the Timbers!!!
